This page tells you how to have your personal data deleted by Beautiful Destinations Limited ("BD"), including any data obtained through our Meta, TikTok, YouTube, or LinkedIn integrations with the Content Operating System (the "COS").

The fastest route. Email privacy@beautifuldestinations.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Tell us:

  • Your full name.
  • The email address you used with us, or the social account (Meta / TikTok / YouTube / LinkedIn) you connected.
  • Which data you want deleted: all personal data, COS account only, or data from a specific connected account.

We confirm receipt promptly and complete deletion within 30 days.

1. What gets deleted

  • Your COS account, profile, and login credentials.
  • Access tokens for any connected Meta, TikTok, YouTube, or LinkedIn account, and any data cached from those accounts.
  • Marketing records, including email list entries and website analytics linked to you.
  • Audit log entries that contain your personal data, where we are allowed by law to delete them.

2. What we may need to keep

We may keep limited records where the law or a contract requires it. Examples:

  • Tax and accounting records for 7 years (UK HMRC).
  • Contracts and associated evidence for the Limitation Act 1980 period (6 years from the end of the contract).
  • Security and fraud-prevention records for as long as needed.

Any retained records are kept in restricted-access systems and are not used for any new purpose.

3. How to revoke social account access directly

You can disconnect the COS from your social account without contacting us:

  • Meta (Facebook / Instagram): Settings > Business Integrations (facebook.com/settings?tab=business_tools). Remove "Beautiful Destinations COS".
  • TikTok: Settings and privacy > Security and permissions > Manage app permissions. Remove "Beautiful Destinations".
  • YouTube / Google: myaccount.google.com/permissions. Remove access for "Beautiful Destinations COS".
  • LinkedIn: Settings and Privacy > Data privacy > Permitted services. Remove "Beautiful Destinations".

Revoking in the platform invalidates our access and we delete the stored token promptly. Email us if you also want the cached data purged.

4. Verification

To protect your data we verify requests before acting. We use the email address on file. For sensitive cases we may ask for one further piece of information that matches our records. We do not ask for copies of government ID unless no other route is available.

5. Authorised agents

A third party can make a request on your behalf. They must provide a written, signed permission from you, and we may contact you to confirm.

6. Response time and complaints

We respond within 30 days. Where a request is complex we may extend by a further two months and will tell you why. If you are not satisfied with our response you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or the data protection authority in your country.
