Our social strategy & data science teams optimize, enhance and distribute client content across Beautiful Destinations owned media channels as well as through paid ads on Instagram & Facebook. Our proprietary visual analytics models apply deep learning and convolutional neural networks to recognize images, predict engagement and inform ad buying. We understand the digital fingerprint of images and videos that make them perform best on mobile and social, in order to drive business objectives for our clients.

We’ve worked with clients such as the Tourism Boards of Hong Kong, New York City, the Philippines and Ireland as well as global brands like Marriott, Hilton Hotels & Resorts, Airbnb, Samsung and Mastercard.

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are looking for our first Executive Sales hire to create and manage our sales department. This individual would be responsible for overall sales strategy, organization performance, the profitable achievement of their own sales goals as well as recruiting sales representatives to further the revenue goals of the business. The Vice President of Sales will report directly to the CEO.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identifies sales opportunities, forges and develops relationships to enable rapid growth of company revenues
  • Leads all aspects of deal execution including priorization of partners, prospecting, advancing, transaction structuring, negotiating and closing key strategic travel clients
  • Implements & manages a comprehensive sales pipeline through Salesforce
  • Develops and anticipates the competitive, partnership & potential acquisition landscape
  • Identifies & tracks needs in the market for development of future products & services
  • Identifies & recruits top sales talent with individuals focused on inside sales, business insights and senior sales
  • Mentors, develops & coaches team members to grow personally and professionally, fostering a culture of accountability, professional development, high-performance, and ethical behaviour.
  • Tracks, reports & forecasts team KPI’s
  • Meets & exceeds assigned revenue targets, market share, and other key financial performance objectives
  • Develops Beautiful Destinations brand through speaking engagements, events & industry thought leadership
  • Acts as Beautiful Destinations travel market expert, developing and sharing insights & strategies with the general public that will enable Beautiful Destinations to establish & maintain a leadership position.
  • Leads learning and development initiatives impacting the sales organization, and provides stewardship of sales and sales management talent.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 10 years sales experience
  • MBA (preferred)

To continue growing the Beautiful Destinations business and community, we’re looking for an exceptional Director of Social Growth & Strategy – someone who can drive exponential growth of the Beautiful Destinations brand across all social platforms.

What you’ll do?

Simply put, you’ll be tasked to aggressively grow Beautiful Destinations’ audience. You’ll be measured on utilization of each channel, monthly growth rates, and increasing engagement rates. Additional tasks include:

  • Oversee strategic planning and execution of Beautiful Destinations’ social media channels (including but not limited to: Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, Weibo, and other emerging media)
  • Devise strategic plans for each social media channel with measurable goals, and execute with Social and Content team
  • Analyze, review, and report on social media data to help modify positioning and messaging tools
  • Experience in translating strategy and innovation into actionable next steps and business plans
  • Implement and oversee social media processes from the ground up, including robust calendaring system, in-depth social reporting, new approaches to cross-departmental collaboration
  • Manage and maintain social budgets
  • Manage social publisher and analytics tools with Social team

As we build and scale our media operations this Community is an invaluable asset that we are looking to manage and nurture properly.

To help with this, we’re looking for an exceptional Community Director – someone who can manage and maximize the output from our global community of professional creators. Building relationships will be imperative with these external creators while working side by side with our internal Original Content Team and Agency Team to hit content deliverables for the Brand.

What you’ll do?

  • Simply put, you’ll be tasked to create a scalable “Ambassador Program” with our top-tier Content Creators.
  • Additional tasks include:
  • Daily outreach to top-tier Ambassadors, either providing them with Beautiful Destinations Program Slate needs/ideas or gathering assets from their travels to publish on BD
  • Build relationships with each and every top-tier Content Creator
  • Management of expected monthly deliverables and acknowledgement to those over/under performing
  • Ideation into ‘incentive’ plans and ways we can strategically align Beautiful Destinations closer and closer to our Ambassadors (understanding their needs and wants)
  • Liaison with the Original Content Team and Agency Team to ensure monthly BD deliverables are being met

The Beautiful Destinations team creates "social first" content around topics that are important to millennial travelers. Things like what to see, eat, and do in cities around the world; profile pieces on inspirational people of this generation, such as Zedd; ultimately, the stories around the world that are worth telling and sharing. We specializes in photography, drone and video (regular, vertical and 360) content creation for a mobile, millennial audience with these content assets then being distributed across our Social Channels, Platform, and Marketing materials.

To continue growing the Beautiful Destinations business and community, we’re looking for an exceptional Post-Production Supervisor – someone who can own and manage all the content being created from our powerful in-house Creative Team.

What you’ll do?

Content is the absolute heartbeat of our business and you will be the pivotal person tasked with devising, implementing, and maintaining process and strategy for managing content in, editing, and out to the Social, Platform, and Marketing teams.

Additional tasks include:

  • Delivers custom content plans aligned to strategy and insights to meet client and brand objectives
  • Coordinates with the Team Leads and Producers around Content Production Calendars so upcoming workflow is known and anticipated
  • Oversees delivery of content following production (executed by the Producer or Account Manager + the Content Team) and ingestion of content onto our on premise solution
  • Manages our on premise content solution to ensure it is organized, accessible and scalable for all business units, while also considering additional solutions or software that will scale our content business
  • Oversees/manages the Edit & Design Team to assign, edit and deliver all assets per timelines
  • Collaborate with the Social Team, Platform Team and Marketing Team to ensure they are receiving content needed to fuel their respective goals and objectives

Simply put, you’ll be tasked to best utilize a specific Beautiful Destinations account/channel yielding exponential growth and engagement. Your goal will be to make that specific Beautiful Destinations account/channel the go-to destination for daily inspiration.

Additional tasks include:

  • Oversee the daily content (editorial positioning and robust calendaring system) and community interactions for a specific Beautiful Destinations account/channels (including but not limited to: Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, Weibo, and other emerging media)
  • Promote growth of UGC to varying Beautiful Destinations hashtags and manage the ownership of this content
  • Analyze, review, and report on social media data to help modify positioning and messaging tools
  • Provide strategic recommendations to the Head of Social – pitching ideas such as Events Beautiful Destinations should participate in or have a presence at, Global or regional Holidays Beautiful Destinations should acknowledge or create a campaign around, Influential people Beautiful Destinations should reach out to and partner with
  • Communicate with our Ambassador Program featuring upwards of 100+ creators around the world

What you’ll do?

Simply put, your number one objective: manage client campaigns to deliver premium content, social strategy, and ultimately a measurable ROI.

Day to day, your role will include:

  • Manage all the in’s and out’s to your client campaigns while efficiently communicating and “managing up” to the Head of Media (Creative and Operations). Day-to-day operation examples include:
  • Onboarding
  • Calendar and pre, during and post-production management
  • Resource staffing
  • Travel, Itinerary, and Accommodation planning
  • Control of budget, expenses, and invoicing
  • Any distribution of content managed through you
  • Reporting, KPI management, and overall, driving measureable success!
  • Participate in client meetings – kick-offs, strategy, planning and analytics calls; preparing needed assets and presentations before the call, guiding participants during, and owning organized next steps
  • Monitor the performance of each campaign and make optimizations based on the KPIs and digital strategy
  • Create post-campaign reports with an in-depth analysis on the performance of each placement
  • Collaborate with the leaders of other departments (Creative, Project Management, Media, and Analytics) to improve and execute on client deliverables, process, and output
